Cody Rhodes, whose real name is Cody Garrett Runnels, is an American professional wrestler, promoter, and actor. He was born on June 30, 1985, in Marietta, Georgia, United States.
Cody Rhodes comes from a family with a rich wrestling heritage. He is the son of the legendary professional wrestler Dusty Rhodes (real name Virgil Runnels) and the half-brother of fellow wrestler Dustin Rhodes (formerly known as Goldust). Cody’s mother, Michelle Rubio Runnels, also worked in the wrestling industry.
Cody began his professional wrestling career in 2006, signing with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He competed under the ring name Cody Rhodes and achieved success in WWE, becoming a multiple-time Intercontinental Champion and Tag Team Champion.
