It is with heavy hearts that the Township of Blooming Grove mourns the loss of a remarkable individual, Rich Caridi Sr. This week, our community has been plunged into sorrow as we remember a man whose unwavering dedication and commitment made him a true pillar of our township.
Rich Caridi Sr.’s service to our community was nothing short of exemplary. Throughout the years, he took on multiple pivotal roles, leaving an indelible mark on Blooming Grove. He served as Township Supervisor, Pike County Commissioner, and Warden at the Pike County Jail, demonstrating his dedication to public service.
Rich was one of the original Fire Police for the Blooming Grove Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept., and his commitment to fire safety and emergency response was unmatched. His contributions to the safety and well-being of our community will be remembered for generations to come.
As a Marine in the US Marines, Rich proudly served our nation, and his dedication to the Marine Corps continued into civilian life as a member of the Marine Corps League. His advocacy for Veterans Affairs reflected his deep passion for supporting those who served our country.
Beyond his public service, Rich Caridi Sr. was an active member of Calvary Chapel in Milford, a local business owner, and a cherished member of our community. He also played pivotal roles on our Township Planning Commission and our Emergency Services Commission.
During this challenging time, our deepest condolences go out to his grieving family. Rich Caridi Sr. will be remembered and greatly missed by the many lives he touched.
