WWE is reportedly planning on bringing WarGames back for Survivor Series 2023.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, as of this week, WarGames was being planned for Survivor Series. WWE utilized WarGames on a main roster show for the first time at the 2022 edition of the event. The show featured both men’s and women’s WarGames matches.
Per Sapp, a men’s match is currently on the table, but other details are unclear. WWE will hold Survivor Series 2023 at Allstate Arena in Chicago on November 25.
WWE previously held WarGames as an annual NXT event from 2017-2021.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
In the main event of Survivor Series 2022, The Bloodline defeated Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, and the Brawling Brutes in the men’s WarGames Match. In the women’s WarGames Match, Becky Lynch scored the win for Team Belair in a hard-hitting bout against Team Damage CTRL.
